Our July 09'

Wow, where did our July go. We began the month with a great 4th of July, with friends. We went to the early morning parade, then an afternoon nap and then we went to the greenbelt where there were more festivities going on, then and afternoon BBQ and then fireworks. Our camera was out of commission so I have no good pictures.
The next couple weeks were kinda a blur Mark headed to OCS for 2 weeks and the girls and I headed home to visit my family. Before Mark left we crammed every minute we could together. We went camping at Diamond Creek the night before he left and had a great time. We were we able to go with marks mom and husband. We had everything provided for us with not much time on our hands it was great. We were able to get away enjoy a relaxing day together and have fun with marks family. Here are a few pictures. We went on motorcycle rides, ate dutch oven and just relaxed. Thanks Lyn and Morgan for a great time.

My Sisters

While Mark was at OCS Taylor, Rilee and I went to my home town and spent time with my 3 younger sisters. We were able to be home for over a week. While we were there we were treated to so many fun things. We went to the reservoir and went swimming with Danielle, Taylor and Rilee went for horse back rides with Brittany and Danielle. Taylor rode 4 wheelers with Candace, we walked 4-h lambs with Danielle, went for a cart ride with Brittany's new team (her horse team). Also Taylor drove of should I say steered the feed truck as we feed the horses. We watched movies with Candace and hung out with my brother Cody and his girlfriend Anna at the 24th celebration where we went to a parade and a town BBQ afterwords. Also while I was home I fortunate to catch up with my friend from high school who I haven't seen in years and we were able to catch up on old times. I had such a great time and so did Rilee and Taylor. Also while we were home Taylor became attached to my dad's new blueheeler pup "dog" yep his name is "dog" Taylor and him went every where they were best buds it was so cute to see them play together. Here is my sister Brittany driving her team she has been working with for the past year and a half.

My sisters Brit and Dani sharing their love for horses with my daughters.

video So here is a video of Taylor walking the spare lamb. The lamb was walking so fast Taylor tripped a lot. After the 3rd fall and a hole in her pants she got to hold the lead rope while she rode in the stroller. Taylor was so upset. She loved to lead the lambs and would be more upset that the lamb got away when she fell rather than the cut on her knee.

1st Annual Grandkids Reunion 09'

So last October we decided to do a grand kids reunion at my moms parents home, Grandma and Grandpa Handy. We held it this last June and we had so much FUN! Being the 1st reunion like this we were short some family members, hopefully they can come next summer. We all started arriving at my grandparents home around noonish on Friday. Grandma & Grandpa were all ready and excited for us to get there, they had balloons at the gate and on the patio. Grandpa threw on some hot dogs and got out the slip and slide and we began to have a party. Later that evening when the rest of the family arrived we had dinner and then watched movies and just hung out. It was a crazy night because there was 6 great grand kids under the age of 8, and trying to get them to sleep in the same room, well fun to say the least. I didn't get a picture to busy trying to calm them down, darn it it was so cute to see them all sleeping in their sleeping bags in one room. Well we awoke Saturday morning to Grandpa making his famous french toast, after breakfast we headed out to see Grandpa's chicken and ducks. Grandpa since I can remember always wanted a pond with lots of fish and geese, duck and etc. and now he has it and the kids loved it. Following Grandpa to his baby chicks. After the showing of the animals we got to ride on a 1948 tractor it was like a carnival ride the kids loved it. video

After the fun on the tractor we all split up, some went and helped make lunch, others played croquet and others went to the slip and slide. After all the fun we had a great lunch, my Grandma's famous lasagna and then we all headed home. Here are some pictures of our weekend. This is Taylor 5 minutes out the door headed home. Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa we had a blast and we are looking forward to it next year. We Love You.

Malad Motorcycle Dog

Saturday we headed down to Utah to see my sister. On our way through Malad we stopped for a "nature" call and Mark happened to catch this guy pulling a trailer with this cool dog in it thru town. He (the dog) even had his own sun glasses. I don't know if it was a special camper made just for the dog but it seemed to fit. The rider and the dog were enjoying it and so did we!
